Cadillac Jack Seville

Cadillac-Jack Seville was born in 1965 and raised in the 1970's. That makes him a greatest hit of BOTH the sixities AND the seventies. When Jack was delivered by the doctor, he was slapped firmly on the rear, but Jack did not cry. He immediately gave the doctor the time and temperature and kissed the nurse on the lips, thus officially beginning his career as a disc jockey.

A few years later, Jack attended...er..graduated high school. The key word here is ATTENDED. He was one of the first students to get a diploma by using a time share student plan, so he never REALLY attended classes.

It was while Jack "attended" high school that he developed a passion for radio. He enrolled in a course taught by a local radio broadcaster named Rob Winters and began to excel. This was a great beginning, as the environment was an actual broadcast facility on the air at 88.5 -FM. This class and the experience gained from "attending" allowed Jack to land a job on KIT-AM, the local heritage radio station in his hometown of Yakima, Washington. Jack worked there fulltime his senior year of high school, pulling the 12AM-6AM shift, while still "attending" classes later in the day.

Anyway...long story short: Jack was hungry for city life, and went from town to town up and down the dial looking for bigger and better radio stations, and bigger and better cities. After stops in California (Santa Rosa, Sacramento, San Bernardino, Los Angeles), Orlando Florida, and Washington DC.....Jack, and the family he gained along the way, made their way to Philadelphia in 1991. As Cadillac-Jack, he worked as the afternoon DJ for about 2 years at WEGX (Eagle-106) and then briefly at WIOQ. Jack decided that he wanted to try his hand at doing a morning show, and in 1993 moved out to Riverside, California . While the ratings were a smashing success, things didn't quite work out when a new group of managers strolled in. This is when Jack learned that making jokes about the General Manager of the radio station can be bad. Very bad.

Having learned his lesson, with many more to come, Jack was missing his two daughters who were still back in the Philly area. Jack took a job in Lancaster, to be closer to his kids, where he hosted a morning show at WLAN-FM for 6 1/2 years, and then at WIOV for a year and a half. After being in the GREAT Lancaster county for 9 years, Jack was ready to leave his new hometown, and he was ready to SLEEP IN. He accepted a job hosting the afternoon show at WGGY/Scranton, where Jack achieved a record high in the ratings battle. But, alas, 2 and a half hours away from the kids is just too far, so Jack decided to pack everything up, and move back to the Mainline to be closer to the family, AND...work for WOGL.
