Halloween 2009
Do you have any idea which costume would suit your personality and style? Would you like to wear something appropriate this year? Read below to find out more about your astrological sign and what your sign is comfortable with wearing when it comes to Halloween or any other costume event you might be attending.
FIRE SIGNS
Aries (March 21 to April 19) – Aries, being the first sign of the Zodiac, love to have the first of everything. If there is a new super hero this year such as Iron Man then that’s the costume to buy. Aries like to swoop in and save everyone and everything so a costume that represents any type of hero will work. Don’t forget about our real life hero’s of Fireman, Policeman, Paramedics and your mum!
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) Leos spend quite a bit of time seeking the attention of others so given the opportunity to dress up they usually like to go big! Think of the costumes of the Mardi gras and that’s your Leo. Lots of glitter, jewelry and anything flashy will usually satisfy their need to show off. Of course being dressed as a lion works well for Leo and is easy for them..
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) The Sagittarius loves to travel especially long distance. Dressing as a space man or woman would fulfill the long distance need. Sagittarius also represents the archer so carrying a bow and arrow and being Robin Hood or Maid Marian would also work, especially if you rob from the rich and give your candy to kids or even the poor.
EARTH SIGNS
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) The Taurus is very sensual and loves to feel and touch things. Dressing up as a chocolate cake because of the enjoyment of eating or Miss America because they like to be seen in their finest would work for this sign. For men try dressing as a Gardener or Landscaper, anything attached to the land.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) The Virgos are dark horses and seem all prim and proper on the outside. At this time of the year, they get to let lose. Dress at Mae West or Cindy Crawford and for the guys a loin cloth and fake chest hair (if you don’t have any) to make you look extra butch. Virgos also love to write and communicate so any famous writer or communicator would also be fun.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) The Capricorns love to be in charge and represent themselves as the leader. Can you dress as Christopher Columbus or a Soldier? Capricorns have an air of authority around them so dressing as anyone that you would see as important would work, such as a President or famous military figure.
AIR SIGNS
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) Gemini’s are the talkers and jokers. Dress as The Joker from Batman or a famous talk show host. You’ll get lots of attention if as the Joker you actually play a trick and as a talk show host, if you inform those people upon whose doors you are knocking, of something fabulous and new. Tell them a tall tale and you will be in your element.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) The Libras are all about balance. Dress as the Scales of Justice or how about going with a friend and dressing as a famous couple. As Libra is about good taste pick couples that have been together for a while and have the respect of others. You could be Regis and Kelly as well as dressing as a Judge.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) The Aquarians are the inventors so dressing as a crazy inventor ought to come easy. Remember the inventor from “Back to the Future”? As they are so forward and future oriented dressing as a computer or radio really works. Dressing in outlandish, mismatched clothes also looks go on Aquarians.
WATER SIGNS
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) The Cancers love home, family and country. Wearing an outfit that represents the flag of any of the states or the USA as a whole would make them feel proud. Cancers are also great caretakers so dressing as Mum or Grandma would also be in keeping with this sign. Make sure you are carrying food with you to give away if you are going to dress up as Mum!
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) Scorpios can be dark and brooding and sexy. Anything in black will work for you. The Grim Reaper would be my favorite costume for this sign. Scorpio is also the sexiest sign of the zodiac so if you have the body dress up as one of your favorite Divas and you will be on top of the world.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) Pisces is probably the easiest to dress. Stick with the simple things such as being a fish or a mermaid. Of course anything that comes from the sea, you could dress as. Crabs, fish, dolphins, sharks etc would work for this water creature. Pisces also rules spirituality so dressing as a monk or nun or even a fairy would also be appropriate.
